Lead Observability Platform Engineer

Job Description :


1. Lead team of Observability Engineers to design and implement and maintain scalable, reliable, performant, and efficient systems.

2. Drive continuous improvements in our operating processes.

3. Nurture engineer growth through mentorship

4. Create site reliability best-practices to ensure platform resiliency, performance and cost-optimization.

5. Partner with product managers to define Service Level Agreements

6. Define Service Level Indicator and Objectives

7. Partner with leadership to define strategic roadmaps.

Desired Candidate Profile :

1. At least 10 years of professional experience in systems engineering

2. At least 6 years of experience programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or Python

3. At least 8 years of experience delivering application performance monitoring visualizations with 2 of the following : Grafana, DataDog, New Relic, Splunk, HoneyComb or DynaTrace

4. At least 8 years of experience designing and building application performance monitoring solutions.

5. At least 6 years of experience instrumenting application for telemetry data.

6. At least 4 years of experience delivering cloud native software.

7. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8. Multiple Observability Platforms

9. Hands on experience with Open telemetry.

Skills : JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and React experience.
