TCS Hiring for Linux Admin

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience Range: 6-10 Years

Job Description :

  1. Experience in Linux Administration (all available versions)
  2. As this is for a L2 requirement, candidate should have strong skills in architecture, design, installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of all areas of Linux including high availability, replication, disaster recovery, patching, backup & recovery, performance tuning, optimizing, and securing Linux in a large environment.
  3. Experience in automating Linux deployments, admin tasks and ability to create scripts for managing and maintaining Linux as per requirements.
  4. Good experience in Puppet and Ansible for automating tasks
  5. Experience in Upgrading and Migration of Linux
  6. Should have experience in Vulnerability remediation, Crowd Strike & Tenable installation, and troubleshooting.
  7. Good experience in handling outages with respective teams and drive the bridge call.
  8. Should have experience in physical server hardware's like Dell, Cisco, HPE
  9. Good experience on vendor alignment part (raising cases with respective vendors and getting RCA)
  10. Good experience in Service Guard Cluster environment
  11. Should have hands-on experience for Migration of Onprem servers to Cloud environment.
  12. Knowledge on Azure Resources including Resources Groups, Virtual machine built, Azure site recovery, DR Activities and also on mount shares to the VM's
  13. Should have ability to perform troubleshooting on Azure VMs both server level and portal level and raise vendor case if necessary.
  14. Experience in setting up alert monitoring considering the monitoring tools deployed in the environment.
  15. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Should be able to resolve any issue related to Linux independently. Should be able to quickly isolate the problem and provide resolution in order to meet the SLAs.
  16. Excellent documentation skills. Should have prior experience in creating design documents, SOPs etc.
  17. Should have ability and prior experience in analyzing existing deployments and propose & implement improvements.
  18. Should have experience in managing projects such as new deployments, migrations, upgrades etc. with ability to plan and track & lead the projects for closure.
  19. Flexible to work in 24x7 operations (working in shifts, on-call support etc.)
  20. Should have excellent communication and presentation skills as the candidate needs to work with Architects, Service Owners, Business Leaders and other technical teams
  21. Should be a team player and have ability to train L2 and L1 resources.
  22. Good understanding of ITIL processes Incident, Problem, Configuration and Change Management
  23. Flexible to learn other technologies as per project requirements.
