About the Role :

As a Product Tech Lead (Hands-on Node.js), you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of our digital banking products from concept to launch. You'll bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products built with :

- Lead the development team through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a focus on Node.js implementation


- Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear, concise technical specifications with a strong understanding of Node.js capabilities


Champion sprint adherence and timely delivery :


- Maintain up-to-date product technical documentation specific to Node.js development


- Foster a solution-oriented approach and secure timely support from all stakeholders


- Actively participate in sprint planning meetings, retrospectives, and achieve a minimum 90% sprint adherence rate


- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (design, QA, marketing)


- Stay abreast of the latest trends in digital banking technologies, with a particular focus on Node.js advancements


- Hands-on development : Contribute to the codebase by writing clean, efficient, and well-tested Node.js code


Qualifications :


- Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Banking, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field


- 4-6 years of experience in a product management or technical lead role


- Prior experience in the Indian banking industry is a strong plus


- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)


- Proven ability to lead and motivate development teams


- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills


- In-depth knowledge of Node.js, including its core modules, asynchronous programming, and best practices


- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Node.js code


- Experience with building APIs using Node.js is a plus
