Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Manager Accounts & Finance. The Manager Accounts & Finance will be responsible for overseeing preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Detailed JD is as follows;


Job Description

  • Examine all entries from day-to-day business transactions such as sales bills, purchases, payments, receipts, purchase orders, etc.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the AP, AR and GL teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Handle accruals and provisioning and maintain daily cash and bank transactions.
  • Prepare monthly & quarterly MIS / Management results.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements and address queries as per ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation laws and GST filings.
  • Ensure compliance with TDS regulations and manage inventory accounting.
  • Oversee payroll finance and ensure PF/ESI compliance.
  • Review secretarial compliances.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a manager in the accounts and finance department
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial management software. Preferably Tally ERP
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
