Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Platform Engineer specializing in ElasticSearch and Kibana to join our team.

As a Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in build, optimizing, and maintaining our ElasticSearch and Kibana infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and performance.

Your expertise will contribute significantly to the success of our projects and initiatives.

In the future, there will be other projects in addition to ElasticSearch and Kibana, which are also to be dealt with.

Responsibilities :

- ElasticSearch and Kibana Administration: Manage, configure, and optimize ElasticSearch and Kibana clusters to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Implement best practices for indexing, search, and visualization.

- Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

- Leverage cloud services to enhance ElasticSearch and Kibana deployments while optimizing costs.

- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Develop and implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues within the ElasticSearch and Kibana environments.

Respond promptly to incidents, troubleshoot root causes, and implement corrective actions.

- Automation and CI/CD: Implement automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning.

Ensure consistency and reliability across environments.

- Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures to protect ElasticSearch and Kibana clusters from unauthorized access, data breaches, and vulnerabilities.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

- Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and support integration efforts.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:.

- Education and training: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7-10 years of experience: Proven record of accomplishment in the use and administration of ElasticSearch and Kibana, with 7-10 years of hands-on experience in similar roles.

- Proficient in English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.

- Strong IT Knowledge: Solid understanding of general IT concepts, including networking, virtualization, operating systems, and databases.

- Technical Expertise: In-depth technical understanding of ElasticSearch and Kibana, including cluster architecture, data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.

- Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with AWS and/or Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.

Familiarity with cloud-native tools and services for ElasticSearch and Kibana is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Elastic Certified Engineer (ECE), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.

- Experience with DevOps Tools: Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including version control systems (e., Git), configuration management (e., Ansible, Terraform), and containerization (e., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprints, and adhering to Agile principles and practices.
