Job Title:Senior Quantity Estimator / Quantity Surveyor Location:Malad, Mumbai Experience:8+ Years Qualification:B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Job Summary We are looking for an experiencedSenior Quantity Estimatorwith a strong background ingovernment infrastructure and large-scale commercial projects . The candidate should have hands-on expertise in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and billing for projects such ashospitals, data centers, schools, institutes, and warehouses .Key Responsibilities Preparedetailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimatesbased on drawings, specifications, and site conditions. Analyzetender documents, drawings, and specificationsfor government and commercial projects. Preparerate analysis , cost comparisons, and budget estimates. HandleRA bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements . Coordinate withdesign, planning, procurement, and site teamsto ensure cost control. Monitor project costs and assist invariation orders, claims, and deviations . Ensure compliance withgovernment norms, specifications, and standard schedules of rates (SOR) . Support tendering activities includingpre-bid queries, bid submissions, and negotiations . Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to quantities and costs.Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge ofcivil construction quantities and estimation . Experience withgovernment projectsand public sector tendering processes. Proficiency inAutoCAD, MS Excel , and estimation software (preferred). Good understanding ofcommercial buildingssuch as hospitals, data centers, educational institutions, and warehouses. Ability to read and interpretGFC drawings and specifications . Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.Experience Requirements Minimum8+ years of relevant experiencein quantity estimation and billing. Proven experience working ongovernment and large commercial construction projects .Preferred Attributes Exposure toPMC / EPC / contracting organizations . Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and cost accuracy.
