Area of Responsibility: Estimation Engineer - Transmission Line/ Substations- Understand the group dynamism and help Estimation Manager for completing the estimation work - Analyse blue print and other documentation to prepare time , cost, materials, and labour estimates - Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as projects develop - Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and schedule work - Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction managers to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues - Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project - Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors - Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures - Establish and maintain tendering process and conduct negotiationsSkills:- Good communications skills – spoken and written. - Site Experience is added advantage. - Transmission Line experience is must. - Excel/ Power Point/ MSP - Sound knowledge in transmission work(foundation, tower erection, stringing)
