Job Purpose:

Acuity Knowledge Partners is seeking an experienced and proactive Delivery Lead to manage and oversee projects within our Investment Banking team, specifically for the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) desks of a global investment bank.

This role requires an individual with proven project management capabilities, strong analytical insights, and the ability to mentor junior team members while directly contributing to complex deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Delivery Lead, you will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Leadership:

- Project Management: Taking ownership of the delivery and execution of ECM projects, ensuring all aspects from initiation to completion are managed effectively.

- Content Creation & Oversight: Overseeing and contributing to the preparation of sophisticated pitch books, company-focused discussion documents, and in-depth analyses of precedent equity offerings.

Deliverable Management: Leading the production of a wide range of ECM deliverables, including:

- Comprehensive capital market updates and newsletters.

- Detailed shareholder/ownership analysis and insights.

- Advanced IPO comparables and market analysis.

- Analysis of new equity issuances and their market impact.

- Complex capital structure analysis.

- In-depth investor analysis and profiles.

- ECM transaction case studies and league tables.

- Subject Matter Expertise: Leveraging fair knowledge of capital markets, equity offerings, and equity-linked offerings (e.g., convertible bonds) to guide research and deliver insightful conclusions.

Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Leadership:

- Project Execution: Managing the execution of DCM-related deliverables, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client objectives.

- Document Development: Guiding the preparation of pitch books, capital structure analysis, debt profiles, credit memos, sales memos, and roadshow presentations.

Analytical Oversight: Overseeing the creation of various issuer/target related analyses, including:

- Detailed market analyses.

- Comprehensive company profiles.

- In-depth credit highlights and balance sheet analyses.

- Rigorous credit ratings assessment.

- Strategic competitive benchmarking.

- Market Intelligence: Driving the development of market updates and newsletters, ensuring insightful commentary, accurate trading levels, recent issuances updates, and relevant economic event analysis.

Required Background:

- Education: MBA / CFA / CA / Graduate degree from a reputable institution.

- Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in an Investment Banking team, boutique firm, KPO, consultancy, or advisory firm, with demonstrated expertise in Equity Capital Markets and/or Debt Capital Markets.

- Leadership & Independence: Proven ability to work independently, taking initiative and applying strategic insights to client ideas and project execution.

- Capital Markets Acumen: Strong knowledge of capital markets, equity offerings, and equity-linked offerings, including the convertible bond market.

- Advanced Analytical Skills: Strong statistical and analytical skills to assess the economic performance and provide in-depth analysis of companies and industries.

- Communication: Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.

- Database Proficiency: Advanced working knowledge of financial databases such as Factset, Dealogic, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Thomson Research, and Morningstar.

- MS Office Skills: Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word for creating professional and impactful deliverables.
