Scope of Role :The IT Application Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration of various systems within our organization.This position focuses on integrating EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) solutions, SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) processes along with other Integration solutions.It requires creation of EDI document Mapping specifications for different EDI documents like 850, 856 , 810 etc.The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams and be well versed with EDI Translators like Open Text or Epicor One Source etc to optimize business processes and enhance efficiency.This individual is responsible for aspects of our ERP Sales and Distribution applications that interact via EDI either with external customers or Intercompany partners including fully understanding the capabilities and limitations of the native SAP / Oracle functional solution, as well as providing module configuration and analysis support.As part of the Integration Center of Excellence, this position will play a key role in future EDI implementations across Regal Rexnord, as well as delivering process improvements to the business. This position will work closely with business subject matter experts as well as others within IT to ensure strong alignment between the business requirements/needs and the application solutions/services.Candidate role is responsible for developing and delivering effective Integration solutions for our business which leverages SAP , EDI and industry standard best practices.Key Responsibilities :- Understand Regal Rexnord ERP Global Template and provide EDI solutions to ensure strong alignment between the business requirements/needs and the application solutions/services.- Work closely with multiple Corporate and Business functions to ensure the EDI designs meet the performance and availability requirements per the Auto Document processing roadmap - Work with different stakeholders in Onboarding Trading partners for different EDI document processing e. g, 850, 855, 856, 810 etc - Understand Business requirements and create Mapping specifications for different EDI documents in EDI translators like Open Text.- Execute end to end EDI testing for different Inbound and Outbound documents - Work with Trading partners and Internal IT and Business teams to co-ordinate Onboarding of new EDI Trading partners or execute changes to existing EDI Trading Partners - Evaluate, design, plan, configure and deliver effective solutions and configuration in the Integration space using EDI and other Integration solutions - Continuously expand knowledge of data, processes, and integration points with other SAP modules, as well as SAP and industry standard best practices - Support value realization initiatives through consistent system utilization, best practice business processes, and standardized controls across business units and geographical areas.- Strong functional, communication and organization skills, with ability to effectively meet deadlines and milestones as well as provide timely updates.- Lead business process and master data redesign ensuring alignment with SAP , EDI and Integration best practices.- Develop strong EDI/Integration user community through end user training, support and knowledge sharing to keep solution aligned with the business - Assist team members and customers with problem solving related to software application performance and usage.- Support ERP-EDI processes globally across multiple SAP and Oracle environments.Professional Experience/Qualifications :- 5+ years of progressive experience in end to end EDI solutions for ERPs like SAP , Oracle or Salesforce OMS Experience with VANs and EDI Translator platforms like Open Text or Epicor EDI One Source etc.- Should be well versed with different EDI Communication protocols like VAN, AS2, FTP etc.- Should have implementation experience with EDI protocols like ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.- SAP ECC 6.0 Sales & Distribution (SD) knowledge and experience - A functional/technical professional with at least two full lifecycle ERP Implementations with EDI (SAP , Oracle or Salesforce OMS ) - Minimum 5 years experience in SAP SD hands-on configuration and implementation/support - Proven ability to provide configuration and analysis support for the SD module with complete understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the native SAP functional solution.- Strong understanding of integration point with other ERP modules like Production Planning, Finance , CRM etc - Experience developing systems requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing best practice business solutions while meeting multiple deadlines.- Ability to collaborate with clients, identify engagement followon opportunities, and have a strong desire to excel.- Demonstrated proficiency in communicating technical information to non-technical audience Acute attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills -
