Job Title : BSP Engineer Location : Bangalore, India Experience : 4–10 Years Domain : Avionics Interview Date- F2F interview will be held on Saturday 25th Oct at Bangalore LocationJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedBoard Support Package (BSP) Engineerto join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, safety-critical software development or testing, and hands-on experience with BSP development. Experience in domains likeautomotiveoravionicsis essential.Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintainBoard Support Packages (BSP)for embedded platforms. Work on low-level software components such asdevice drivers (DD) ,runtime environments (RTR) , bootloaders, and hardware abstraction layers. Collaborate with hardware teams to enable and validate hardware functionality. Participate in the development and/or testing ofsafety-critical systemsadhering toDO-178B/CorISO 26262standards. Design and executetest cases , ensuring comprehensive coverage and compliance with development procedures. Debug and resolve hardware/software integration issues efficiently. Generatetest reportsand documentation aligned with safety and quality standards. Contribute tosafety lifecycle activities , including requirements traceability, verification, and validation.Required Skills & Qualifications : 4 to 10 yearsof hands-on experience in BSP development or testing. Strong expertise inEmbedded C programmingand debugging embedded systems. Solid understanding ofDO-178B/C(avionics) orISO 26262(automotive) safety standards. Experience withdevice drivers , bootloaders, memory management, and hardware bring-up. Skilled intest case design ,development procedures , andtest execution . Experience in tools and techniques for debugging embedded targets (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.Preferred Qualifications : Prior experience in bothdevelopment and testingroles. Exposure to tools likeVectorCAST ,LDRA ,DOORS , or similar for verification and traceability. Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontroller architectures (ARM, PowerPC, etc.).
