Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced L2 Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the organizations network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring in-depth knowledge of enterprise networks, troubleshooting, and escalated support activities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide Level 2 support for LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network security issues.

- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network issues related to performance, outages, and connectivity.

- Assist in network infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and optimization projects.

- Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.

- Analyze network logs and packet captures to identify and resolve problems.

- Ensure network uptime, redundancy, and failover mechanisms are in place.

- Support firewall configurations and policies (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.

- Assist in maintaining network security, including patching and access controls.

- Implement and maintain VPNs, VLANs, ACLs, NAT, and IPsec tunnels.

- Configure and maintain network devices : switches, routers, load balancers, and access points.

- Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, assets, and configurations.

- Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for circuit issues and Skills & Experience :


- 35 years of hands-on experience in network administration/support roles.

- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, and STP.

- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, or other enterprise networking platforms.

- Familiarity with firewall rules, NAT, ACL, and VPN technologies.

- Ability to work with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar)
