Zscaler L2 Security Engineer

Location : Delhi NCR, Pune, Bangalore (Onsite)

Experience : 3 - 7 Years

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Act as an L2 escalation point for complex Zscaler-related issues.

- Diagnose and resolve intricate security, networking, and performance challenges efficiently.

- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to manage and resolve critical security incidents.

- Lead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions.

- Design and implement web filtering, SSL inspection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and sandboxing policies.

- Optimize existing security policies, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and traffic forwarding methods for enhanced security and performance.

- Manage integrations with SIEM, EDR, and other security tools to ensure comprehensive visibility and response capabilities.

- Analyze and fine-tune Zscaler performance metrics, including latency, bandwidth, and routing to ensure optimal network efficiency.

- Conduct deep packet inspection (DPI) and extensive log analysis for proactive security monitoring and incident investigation using tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.

- Actively enforce zero-trust security principles across the organization's network architecture.

- Work closely with SOC, NOC, and IT teams to align security policies with overarching business requirements.

- Create detailed documentation for configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.

- Provide training and knowledge transfer to L1/L2 support teams to enhance overall team capabilities.

- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and relevant product features to proactively enhance our security posture.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Zscaler L2 Security, Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).

- Expert-level troubleshooting skills across network, security, and performance domains.

- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and DLP systems.

- Proficient in packet capture analysis using tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.

- Solid understanding of networking protocols and concepts.

Qualification : Any Master's
