Designation: Ecommerce Associate


Salary: 15K-20K per month


Summary:

We are searching for a skilled and motivated E-commerce Product Research Specialist to spearhead the exploration, analysis, and selection of products for selling on prominent e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Walmart. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of product research methodologies, market trends, and consumer behavior to identify high-potential product categories and drive sales growth.


Responsibilities:

  1. Product Category Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive research on various product categories to identify trends, demand patterns, and competitive landscapes.

Utilize data analysis tools and market research techniques to evaluate the viability and profitability of different product categories.

Identify niche markets and untapped opportunities for product expansion within existing categories.

  1. Supplier and Vendor Management:

Source and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers to optimize margins and maintain competitive pricing on e-commerce platforms.

Monitor supplier performance and product quality to uphold brand reputation and customer satisfaction standards.

  1. Product Selection and Sourcing:

Evaluate potential products based on criteria such as market demand, competition, profitability, and fulfillment logistics.

Manage the product selection process from initial concept to final sourcing, ensuring alignment with company objectives and target audience preferences.

  1. Performance Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to evaluate product performance and identify growth opportunities.

Generate regular reports and performance dashboards to track key metrics such as sales velocity, conversion rates, and profitability.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management based on data-driven analysis and market intelligence.


Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.

Proven experience of 2-3 years in product research, sourcing, or category management within the e-commerce industry.

Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Shopify.

Proficiency in market research techniques, data analysis tools, and inventory management systems.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise with internal teams, external suppliers, and business partners.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving market trends and consumer preferences.
