Job Description :


We are seeking a highly skilled Python Automation Test Engineer with Scala expertise to join our QA team.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and define test scenarios.

- Write and execute test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.

- Utilize automation frameworks such as PyTest or Robot Framework for test execution.

- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing seamlessly.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers for quick resolution.


- Leverage Scala for back-end interactions and developing custom test utilities.

- Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.

- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for test strategies, test cases, and processes.

- Apply strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills :


- 5- 8 years of experience in automation testing.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Python with test automation frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar).

- Experience in writing unit, integration, and functional test cases.

- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).

- Working experience with Scala for automation or backend-related tasks.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Good-to-Have Skills :


- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes in testing environments.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
