Education : B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer ScienceExperience: Must have 8+ years relevant experience in the field of database Administration.Mandatory Skills/KnowledgeInstallation of SQL Server on cluster environmentComplete knowledge of Backup and recoveryShould have knowledge of Database Security policiesShould have knowledge of high availability (Cluster, Mirroring, logshipping, always on)Performance monitoring and tuningShould have good knowledge of issues and trouble shooting.Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changesAssist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.Experience working with Windows server, including Active DirectoryExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to organize and plan work independentlyAbility to work in a rapidly changing environmentAbility to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teamsBasic Knowledge of Cloud Technologies like Azure,AWS & GCPTaking Backup for Databases on Azure Blob Storages from Local ServersAbility to decode Execution Plans for MSSQL ServerHands-On Knowledge on SQL 2019,2022 New FeaturesDatabase Consolidation, Migrations & Licensing Knowledge for MSSQLShould have worked and experience with AzureSQL / Basic Knowledge about Migration Onpremise to AzurePreferred Skills/KnowledgeSME Level knowledge of database administration and architecture.Database Design Knowledge and hands on experience..Requirement analysis and component design including detailed design and resolving design issues.Acts as a participant to project and application management teams to promote standards and best practices, provide estimates, and plan and manage database activities on deliverables.Expert Level knowledge in OS / Network / Storage Concepts
