SQL Database Administrator

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance. ResponsibilitiesInstallation of SQL Server on cluster environmentComplete knowledge of Backup and recoveryShould have knowledge of Database Security policiesShould have knowledge of high availability (Cluster, Mirroring, logshipping, always on)Performance monitoring and tuningShould have good knowledge of issues and trouble shooting.Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changesAssist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.Experience working with Windows server, including Active DirectoryExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to organize and plan work independentlyAbility to work in a rapidly changing environmentAbility to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teamsBasic Knowledge of Cloud Technologies like Azure,AWS & GCPTaking Backup for Databases on Azure Blob Storages from Local ServersAbility to decode Execution Plans for MSSQL Server Hands-On Knowledge on SQL 2019,2022 New Features Database Consolidation, Migrations & Licensing Knowledge for MSSQLShould have worked and experience with AzureSQL / Basic Knowledge about Migration Onpremise to AzureEducationB.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer ScienceExperienceMust have 8+ years relevant experience in the field of database Administration.
