Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey to establish and manage a thriving farm operation? We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven and experienced person with a B.Sc. in Agriculture to spearhead the development and management of our new farm. If you have a passion for sustainable agriculture and expertise in multi-layer farming, intercropping, and horticulture, we want to hear from you


Location: Nagpur / Noida


Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of all farm activities from inception to full-scale operation.
  • Implement innovative farming techniques, including multi-layer farming, intercropping, and horticulture, to maximize productivity and sustainability.
  • Select and cultivate a diverse range of crops suited to the local climate and market demand.
  • Manage soil health through effective crop rotation, composting, and organic fertilization methods.
  • Oversee irrigation systems and water management strategies to optimize resource usage.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise farm staff, ensuring a high level of productivity and safety.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and agricultural organizations.
  • Monitor farm performance and financials, and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and research to continuously improve farm practices.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field.
  • Proven experience in farm management, with a track record of successfully establishing and operating a farm.
  • Deep understanding of multi-layer farming, intercropping, and horticulture principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Adaptability and willingness to work in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
