About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled Internal Audit Head to lead the organizations audit and compliance function. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring robust internal controls, process adherence, financial discipline, and compliance with statutory requirements across all business operations.

This leadership role requires a qualified professional with deep expertise in corporate audits, branch audits, stock audits, process audits, statutory audits, and IT audits. The candidate should be comfortable managing a large audit team, handling multiple assignments simultaneously, and traveling frequently to conduct audits across retail outlets, branches, and corporate functions.

Experience in the jewelry industry will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Internal Audit function and manage a team of auditors across different verticals.

- Design, implement, and execute audit plans, policies, and procedures covering all critical areas of the business.

- Conduct corporate department audits, branch audits, and stock audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

- Review and monitor process adherence, financial reporting accuracy, and operational compliance.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and coordinate with external auditors where necessary.

- Identify potential risks, gaps, or control weaknesses in business operations and recommend corrective measures.

- Oversee IT audits and ensure compliance with internal data security and IT governance practices.

- Regularly present audit findings, reports, and recommendations to senior management and the Board.

- Ensure strong internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets and financial health.

- Develop and mentor the audit team, ensuring professional growth and capability building.

- Be open to frequent travel to branch offices, warehouses, and retail outlets to conduct audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualification: CA / ICWA (mandatory).

- Currently leading or having experience in heading an Internal Audit function.

- Strong background in Corporate Audit, Process Audit, Statutory Audit, Stock Audit, and IT Audit.

- Experience in managing large audit teams across multiple business units.

- Preferably from the jewelry industry or industries with complex inventory, procurement, and retail operations.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to travel frequently across branches and business units.
