Description :About The Role :We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Laravel Developer to join our growing team.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Laravel and PHP-based web application development.Knowledge of WordPress theme/plugin development will be considered a plus.You will be responsible for developing robust back-end systems, integrating APIs, and ensuring seamless front-end functionality with clean, maintainable code.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel and PHP.- Build reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.- Collaborate with designers and product teams to translate requirements into functional solutions.- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.- Manage databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) including schema design, optimization, and queries.- Maintain existing WordPress sites develop or customize themes and plugins as needed.- Work with version control systems like Git and deployment pipelines.- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and code optimization.Required Skills & Qualifications :- 1- 3 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.- Good understanding of WordPress (themes, plugins, and customization).- Strong in MySQL/SQL queries and OOP concepts.- Familiar with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).- Experience with API integration and third-party service connections.- Basic understanding of security, authentication, and web performance.- Good communication and teamwork skills.- Preferred : Kolkata-based candidates.Good to Have :- Experience with Shopify theme customization or other CMS platforms.- Familiarity with version control (Git), Docker, and CI/CD.- Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflow and DevOps tools (cPanel, WHM, AWS, DigitalOcean).Perks & Benefits :- 5 working days/week- Competitive salary package- Exposure to modern technologies and industry-standard practice (ref:hirist.tech)
