Financial Planning Analyst Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills (Excel, SQL, and preferably Python/R) and a solid understanding of financial modelling and business performance metrics.Key Responsibilities:- Drive annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial planning processes. - Prepare and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and dashboards to support decision-making. - Analyse P&L variances, identify trends, and highlight risks/opportunities to leadership. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, Operations, Category, HR, Supply Chain) to gather data and validate assumptions. - Conduct cost analysis, margin tracking, and ROI assessments for new initiatives and business projects. - Support weekly/monthly MIS reporting, management presentations, and business performance reviews. - Build automated reports using Excel, SQL, Python/R to improve efficiency and accuracy. - Monitor KPIs, cash flows, and financial health indicators to support strategic planning. - Assist in shaping long-term financial strategy with insights backed by strong data analysis. - Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in all financial reporting and planning outputs. Key Skills & Competencies:- 2+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Financial Analysis, or Business Finance. - Strong command of Advanced Excel (Pivot, Power Query, Lookups, financial modelling). - Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis. - Experience with any programming language like Python or R (preferred, not mandatory). - Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting frameworks, and forecasting methodologies.
