Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Sales and Business Development to lead our efforts in selling AI solutions and services, including AI services, data monetization, and customer experience enhancement products. This role is focused on new business development, client acquisition, and market expansion—not account management.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth (minimum $10 million USD annually) in similar product lines
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development:
Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with a focus on client acquisition and market expansion across India and APAC.
Develop and execute strategies for penetrating new markets, industries, and customer segments.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:
Create and implement a robust sales strategy to drive revenue growth for AI solutions and services.
Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets with large-scale deal closures ($10M+ USD annually).
Market Expansion:
Explore and establish a strong presence in emerging economies and markets mianly within the India APAC region. and also in USA & EMEA
Identify untapped business opportunities and align strategies to cater to regional market needs.
Client Engagement:
Collaborate with C-level executives and decision-makers to position AI-driven solutions as critical to their business goals.
Lead the entire sales cycle, from identifying prospects to RFPs, presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
Partnership Development:
Build and nurture strategic partnerships with enterprises, technology players, and system integrators in the AI and data ecosystem.
Leadership & Reporting:
Manage and mentor a high-performing sales and business development team.
Provide data-driven insights on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends to senior leadership.
Key Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 15+ years in sales and business development, with 5+ years in leadership roles focused on AI solutions, data monetization, or customer experience products.
At least 2+ years of direct experience selling AI solutions at a mid or large-sized AI service company or within the AI/Generative AI division of a large IT services organization.
Proven track record of driving $10M+ USD in annual revenue from new business and client acquisition.
Hunting Mindset:
Demonstrated ability to hunt, acquire new clients, and establish strong relationships.
Preference for candidates who have excelled in new business development and market expansion, not account management roles.
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of AI technologies, Generative AI, data monetization strategies, and customer experience solutions.
Ability to articulate technical solutions and business value propositions effectively.
