Business Analyst – SharePoint Migration & Integration ProjectZencon Group Inc., a Microsoft Partner specializing in Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint modernization, is seeking an experiencedBusiness Analyst (BA)to support a large-scaleSharePoint migration.The BA will work closely with the client’s business users, technical teams, and project leadership to gather requirements, define information architecture, support data migration planning, and ensure the solution meets user, operational, and compliance needs.Key Responsibilities Conductrequirements gathering sessions and stakeholder interviewsto document business needs, workflows, and access requirements. Analyze the currentdocument management structureon legacy file shares and identify files eligible for migration. Define and document theSharePoint taxonomy, metadata, and folder hierarchyaligned with LASMNY’s office and practice group structure. Collaborate with SharePoint developers to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. Supportdata mapping and validationfor case-related documents being migrated to SharePoint. Assist withLegalServer integration requirements, including metadata synchronization and document access models. Developbusiness process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides. CoordinateUser Acceptance Testing (UAT), capture feedback, and track resolution of refinements. Lead or co-facilitateend-user training sessionsand produce step-by-step training materials. Ensure all documentation aligns with compliance, security, and Legal Services Corporation (LSC) standards.Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experienceas a Business Analyst in IT or digital transformation projects. Strong background inMicrosoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and document management systems. Demonstrated ability toanalyze workflows, permissions, and metadata structures. Experience gathering requirements forsystem integration projects(e.g., APIs, third-party tools). Excellent documentation skills – ability to create process flows, BRDs, and user manuals. Proficiency withVisio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BIfor reporting and visualization. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with non-technical users.Preferred Qualifications Experience withLegalServeror other legal case management systems. Prior experience working withnonprofit or public-sector clients. Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Fundamentals, SharePoint Associate) are a plus.
