Job Title: Deputy Chief Accounts Finance Officer

- Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Chief Accounts Finance Officer to oversee the financial activities of MIT-ADT University.

- Reporting directly to the Chief Accounts and Finance Officer (CAFO), this pivotal role involves managing the university's entire income and expenditure processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining the integrity of financial reporting.

- The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, particularly within the educational sector, and will bring a wealth of knowledge to support our mission of excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the comprehensive financial operations of the university, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

- Manage and ensure the accuracy of all financial records, including income, expenditures, and audits.

- Collaborate with the CAFO to develop financial strategies that align with the university's goals and objectives.

- Conduct thorough audits of financial statements and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and policies.

- Supervise the preparation of financial reports, ensuring they reflect the university's financial status accurately and transparently.

- Lead the finance team in financial analysis, risk management, and the implementation of best practices in financial operations.

- Engage with various stakeholders, including administrative departments and academic units, to provide financial insights and guidance.

- Support the university's strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and recommendations for resource allocation.

- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the finance Chartered Accountant (CA) with a robust understanding of accounting principles and financial management.

- A minimum of 14-15 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in financial management roles within educational organizations.

- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial reporting standards in the higher education sector.

- Proven experience in handling audits, budget preparation, and financial forecasting.

- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
