Job description – Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager, you will work with iVoyant’s clients to understand their business and will work side-by-side to jointly accomplish their vision, mission, and goals. We need our leaders to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to tackle new problems across as we continue to push technology forward.


Key Responsibilities

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Track multiple teams across an engagement to achieve milestones.
  • Guide/groom team on Kick-off meetings, clear communication and ensure handover between development and testing teams.
  • Guide team technically on technical blockers they face.
  • An organizer, responsible for prioritization, task monitoring and ensuring closures.
  • Participate in Client planning/process meetings, identify key business objectives and provide solution recommendations.
  • Ensure project resources are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards.
  • Groom team on agile framework and help get clarifications on time. Good knowledge of JIRA and version control tools.
  • Ensure smooth handover between onsite and offshore teams
  • Ensure needed documentation for projects
  • Define deployment procedures and ensure smoother deployments
  • Be the voice of team as problem solver for connectivity issues, process limitation resolutions, feedbacks between team and customer, status consolidation etc.
  • Encourage everyone to have a voice and invite opinion from all, including quieter members of the team.
  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
  • Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.


Generic Requirements:


  • Must have hands-on Java & Coding.
  • Good technical experience in Java, React.JS, DevOps and open-source projects. Certifications will be appreciated.
  • Experience on onsite and offshore development, Team lead experience a MUST
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Architecture. Experience in Microservices is a MUST
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Azure etc.
  • Become the Single point of contact for delivery and act as an advocate between the Service Delivery and the Customer, Ability to manage escalations.
  • Have a demonstrated track record of driving delivery of multiple low to high complexity projects.
  • Project planning and progress monitoring, including milestone control.
  • Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle stressful situation with professionalism.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Delivery teams. Handle Operational issues related to the delivery center.
  • Provide technical support and participate in the Change Control Board and/ or change control process.
  • Drive and coordinate crisis management.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
