Roles and Responsibilities:

The job encompasses but is not limited to the following Roles and Responsibilities:

➢ Plan and allocate resources effectively to optimize warehouse capacity and productivity.

➢ Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment.

➢ Coordinate and oversee shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching activities.

➢ Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

➢ Vendor contract management and day to day co-ordination with them for timely delivery.

➢ Warehouse Management– Material inward & outward

➢ Driving automation projects in material consumption through SAP

➢ Maintain FIFO for Material dispatch.

➢ Ageing Stock Analysis & follow-up with Business

➢ Carryout quarterly inventory counting and perpetual inventory every month.

➢ Maintain HIRA & risk assessment for receiving and stores area.

➢ Continuous improvement in stores operations for maximum utilization of space

➢ Maintain housekeeping & 5S in stores.

➢ Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision

➢ Supervise and provide guidance to warehouse staff, including training and performance evaluations of junior.

➢ Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

➢ Delegate tasks and assign responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow and achievement of targets.

➢ Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely order processing and fulfilment.

➢ Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues related to warehouse operations. ➢ Continuously improve order fulfilment processes to enhance customer satisfaction and retention

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/AGE

Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a minimum of 4 to 8 years

Skills

➢ Proficient in using the SAP.

➢ Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.

➢ Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.

➢ Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.

➢ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

➢ Basic knowledge of import export activity

➢ Should know basic purchase and sales process flow.
