Description:Job Title: Dean Journalism and Mass Communication.Location: Noida.Experience Required: 12+ Years (Teaching Experience Mandatory).Qualification: Ph.D. in Journalism and Mass Communication (preferred) or UGC-NET qualified (mandatory).Position Overview:We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified academic professional to lead and elevate our Journalism and Mass Communication programs.The Dean will play a critical role in academic leadership, curriculum enhancement, faculty mentorship, and student success.Key Responsibilities:- Deliver advanced lectures, workshops, and practical sessions across core areas of Journalism and Mass Communication, including Print, Broadcast, Digital Media, Advertising, and Public Relations.- Lead curriculum design, academic planning, and content development to align with industry standards and academic benchmarks.- Mentor students in academic research, dissertation work, internships, and media production projects.- Evaluate student performance through structured assessments, presentations, and practical output.- Contribute to departmental strategy, policy-making, and quality assurance processes.- Guide and mentor junior faculty members, fostering academic collaboration and growth.- Represent AAFT in conferences, seminars, and industry events, building visibility and partnerships.- Stay updated with the latest developments, technologies, and pedagogical methods in journalism and mass communication.Eligibility Criteria:- Minimum 12 years of teaching experience at the university/college level, preferably in reputed institutions.- Proven expertise in at least two major domains such as Digital Media, Broadcast Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, or Media Research.- Strong academic record with publications or contributions to conferences and journals.- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.- Prior industry experience in media/journalism will be an added advantage.
