Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in media studies, including but not limited to media theory, digital media, visual culture, and media ethics.
- Develop and revise course materials, assessments, and instructional methods.
- Conduct research in media studies, aiming for publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at academic conferences.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and professional development.
- Contribute to departmental and university service, including curriculum development and committee work.
- Engage with the community through outreach initiatives and partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Media Studies, Communication, or a related field (must be completed by the time of appointment).
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching, with a commitment to innovative pedagogical practices.
- A strong record of scholarly research and potential for future publications.
- Knowledge of contemporary issues in media, technology, and society.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
Pay: ₹30,505.32 - ₹80,510.59 per month
