We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Medicine Professional to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
As a Veterinary Medicine Professional at Samvedna Development Society, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive health assessments and diagnosing illnesses in large cattle, with a special emphasis on buffalo herds.
- Implementing treatment plans for various medical conditions, including routine check-ups and emergency cases.
- Administering medications and vaccines as required, ensuring accurate dosage and adherence to best veterinary practices.
- Collaborating with the broader veterinary team to develop and implement preventive healthcare programs.
- Providing guidance and support to on-site staff in handling large cattle, especially buffalo caws.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records for each animal under your care.
- Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and incorporating best practices into daily operations.
- Participating in community outreach programs to educate local stakeholders on animal health and welfare.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Master's degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized institution.
- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in the field of large cattle medicine, with a focus on buffalo herds.
- Strong diagnostic and treatment skills, with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with team members and local communities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of local livestock practices and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by large cattle in the region.
