Envint is a young and fast-growing sustainability, climate change & ESG services firm. We're in search of passionate developers/students eager to delve into ESG and sustainability whilst contributing to impactful IT solutions for the sector.


We are looking for interns to function as Full-stack Developers.


Responsibilities:


As a Full-stack Developer Intern, you will:

  • Analyze Requirements and Design Solutions: Break down product requirements for cloud-native AWS solutions. Design wireframes and implement logical structures.
  • Develop Front-end and Back-end: Create responsive UIs with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular. Develop back-end services using Node.js, Python, or PHP, and frameworks like Express or Laravel.
  • Manage Databases and Ensure Security: Handle relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Implement security best practices and optimise performance.
  • Utilize Git and Collaborate Effectively: Use Git for version control and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers.
  • Deploy, Maintain, and Iterate: Deploy applications to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Ensure maintenance, scalability, and adapt to changing requirements through iterative improvements.


Qualifications:

  • Candidates pursuing a Computer Science/Information Science Engineering/Sciences degree.
  • Demonstrable coding skills; showcase your work on Github or similar repositories.
  • Final year, penultimate year, and fresh graduates preferred.


Tech Skills & Experience Desired, but not limited to:

  • Front-end Expertise: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.js (preferred) or Angular.js. Familiarity with UI packages such as Material UI, Ant Design, and TailwindCSS, Streamlit is an added advantage.
  • UI/UX Design: Competence in UI/UX design and development, with hands-on experience in design tools like Figma or similar applications.
  • Experience with React Router DOM v6: Proficiency in using React Router DOM v6 for managing application routing and navigation.
  • State Management: Experience with state management libraries like Redux Toolkit or similar.
  • Back-end Expertise: Strong skills in back-end development using Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP, and frameworks such as Express,Spring boot,  or Laravel.
  • Database Management: Experience in designing, managing, and querying databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
  • Cloud Deployment: Proficiency in deploying applications to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Security and Performance: Knowledge of implementing security best practices and performance optimization.


Proven track record of creating impressive and user-friendly interfaces/robust backend setup needs to be showcased in CV. Detailed demonstration of these will be expected in further rounds once shortlisted.


 Other Skills:

  • Seamless integration of endpoints from/to backend for efficient data flow.
  • Stickler to coding standards, source and version control, unit testing.
  • Display keen initiative in proactive bug-fixing; niche troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.


Desirable:

Immediate availability. Bangalore-based candidates may be preferred. However, providing remote working is not a limitation for suitable candidates.


Stipend:

INR 16,000 for the internship period.


Based on interns' performance and mutual interest, interns will be evaluated for a job opportunity at the end of the internship.
