About the role

Alight is seeking an experienced analyst to join the Product Innovation & Enablement team.

As the Technical Demo Analyst , you are responsible for enabling our client-facing and sales teams to demonstrate the value of Alight’s products by supporting the discovery, development and delivery of new product features and enhancements with Alight’s demo experiences.

Job Description

Technical Demo Analyst - Product Management Associate

The demo analyst will serve as a primary subject matter expert/product owner for the live demo (Showcase client). Additionally, the demo analyst may support (as needed) the static demos currently supported by the demo enablement team.

In this role, you will collaborate with product teams and other stakeholders to understand the scope/requirements for the live demo updates as well as support the demo development team to ensure the timely delivery of static demo updates, as needed.

Additionally, you will partner with and support the Demo and Interactive Experience Manager in the creation and maintenance of interactive story/conceptual sales demo experiences (via Figma).

The ideal candidate should have strong presentation, problem-solving, quality assurance skills, and high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Demo Analyst will report to the Demo and Interactive Experience Manager. The Technical Demo Analyst is responsible for delivering a broad spectrum of tasks, including:

General Demo Support

Partner with various stakeholders to understand the requirements for any product sales presentations and demo support for both internal and external clients. Performs configuration for both the CBA Showcase client and the associated Alight Worklife configuration, based on needs of end users. Creates and execute test plans to ensure demo updates and data refresh activities were accurately completed according to documented requirements. Establish frequent communication with the relevant stakeholders to monitor demo-related projects and keep everyone informed of the status. Be able to work well within a small team and support colleagues on any ad-hoc requirements and tasks. Assist in identifying and implementing strategies to create/enhance demo configuration tooling capabilities to support the vast needs of our business partners and sellers

Live Demo Support

Live demo support for the Showcase client is the primary responsibility of the Technical Demo Analysts

Performs system configuration for CBA and Alight Worklife Assist in leading and managing documentation for the Showcase client(s) Partners with Product leaders and Solution Architects to ensure Showcase client remains current with the latest product updates, across services Works with demo team leaders to deploy new solutions and answer questions related to configuration and user data Participates in iteration life cycle and deployment governance for the Showcase client Manages development blueprints for current iteration work Assist in the creation of standard operation procedures Participates and owns portions of training and deployment of product enhancements Owns the execution/managing of system activities Defect identification and resolution, including Root Cause Analysis Owns understanding of Showcase client requirements and how they drive work activity in order to convert into detailed system analysis. Complex query development

Static/Concept Demo Support

The Technical Demo Analyst will also support the broader demo enablement team, when needed.

Supports writing clear and precise requirements for our demo development teams, by documenting new features/functionality/enhancements in a way that they can easily used for static and conceptual demo development, as needed. Supports the creation of high-quality, interactive story-oriented Figma demos (via Figma) that are engaging to showcase the true value and future concepts of Alight’s products and solutions Assist in managing project tasks and use the strong connections you form to collect, improve, and provide demo-related changes/experiences, within scope and on time Troubleshoot bugs and errors found during testing to assist the static demo development team in locating and correcting the issue Other duties including, but not limited to, assisting other teams if needed.

Team Development

Contribute to process improvement opportunities within the demo enablement team Is a role model for global and cross-cultural team support Coaches and provides feedback to entry level colleagues Coaches broader team on solutions and system tools

Qualifications and Experience

2+ years CBA and Alight Worklife configuration experience Cross-domain experience in benefits administration, healthcare, retirement, leaves, and HR technology is preferred BA/BS degree with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a business analyst and/or quality assurance role 1+ years of experience in creative roles 1+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering/development and design teams Proven ability to effectively deliver and communicate with others to achieve desired results; must be approachable and open-minded Project management experience taking ideas from concept to launch Strong communication and presentation skills Passion for technology and digital experiences Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamically changing environment Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to handle multiple project assignments Strong team interaction with the ability to work collaboratively with geographically dispersed/remote teams Service-oriented with a strong sense of accountability Proven ability to execute tasks across cross-functional teams with high quality and within time constraints A very good eye for detail while safeguarding the big picture Strong problem-solving skills Knowledge of coding practices/methodologies Practical experience in writing clear and detailed requirements documentation Experience on CBA or Any Benefit Administration Product will be an added advantage.
