Our team consists of Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, and Legal Experts, ensuring top-notch financial management for businesses across various industries.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee and ensure that bookkeeping for all clients is handled timely, correctly, and with accuracy. The candidate should possess strong expertise in Tally and Zoho and act as a mentor and guide for junior accountants, ensuring adherence to best accounting practices. The role also requires regular monitoring and reviewing of client books to maintain high accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping for all PokketCFO clients.
- Review and monitor the financial records, transactions, and ledgers of clients on a regular basis.
- Guide and mentor junior accountants in bookkeeping best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Identify and rectify errors in accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tally and Zoho Books, ensuring seamless financial operations.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain necessary documents and resolve queries related to bookkeeping.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting for clients.
- Stay updated on tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other compliance requirements impacting bookkeeping and reporting.
- Work closely with the finance and compliance teams to ensure proper reconciliations and financial data integrity.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting & bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Tally and Zoho Books is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of junior accountants.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while ensuring accuracy.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
