We are seeking a skilled and experienced MERN Stack Developer to join our Development team at Flytant. Reporting to the Head of Tech and Applications Team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces and server-side logic for web applications.

Key Responsibilities Areas (KRAs):

  • Develop and implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React.js (Next Js App Router).
  • Build and maintain server-side logic using Node.js / Express.js.
  • Build and maintain client-side logic using React.js(Next Js App Router).
  • Design and manage database schemas using MongoDB.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate project requirements into functional components.

KPI: Timely and accurate delivery of full-stack development tasks.


Code Quality and Optimization:

  • Ensure high-quality code standards, maintainability, and scalability of the codebase.
  • Optimise code and assets for performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility.

KPI: Adherence to coding standards and optimization of the code.


Integration and Testing:

  • Integrate components with third-party APIs, ensuring seamless functionality and data exchange.
  • Conduct testing and debugging to identify and resolve technical issues and bugs.

KPI: Effective integration of components with external systems.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to project planning and estimation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates on development progress and address technical challenges.

Qualifications:

Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.


Software Knowledge:

Database management i.e., MySQL, MongoDB.


Role Description:

This is a full-time internship role for a MERN Stack Developer at Flytant. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js(Next Js App Router), Node.js) stack. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and ensure the responsiveness and scalability of applications. This is an on-site role located in Noida.


Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
  • Experience with the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Angular or Vue.js is a plus
  • Familiarity with UI/UX principles and design patterns
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git
  • Understanding of database systems, specifically MongoDB
  • Knowledge of server-side scripting languages like Python or Ruby is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and solve complex problems
  • Prior experience or relevant coursework in web development
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
