Description :Job ID : Dat-ETP-Ind-1182.Location : India,Pune.- Were looking for a Database developer who is an excellent SQL programmer and has very good experience with Query optimization.- In this role, you will be expected to work autonomously and contribute to several high impact projects including optimizing all application touchpoints with the database systems.- You will need to work in Central time 7:30 am to 5 pm IST - 6 PM to 3:30 AM IST during DST and needs to work in Central time 7:30 am to 5 pm i.- 7 PM to 4:30 AM IST during DST savings.- You will be part of a team which will have on-call duties outside CST business hours as well, and you will need to respond to high-priority incident pager.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To : - 3+ years of experience working with MS-SQL Programming including Query tuning and troubleshooting, Performance Optimization, Execution plan analysis.- Extensive experience with Advanced SQL Features like Indexing, Partitioning decisions to balance scale and consistency, etc.- Ability to train and mentor applications developers on best database practices.- Ability to participate in and contribute to code management in GitHub.- Actively collaborating in peer-reviews, feature branches, and resolving conflicts and commits.- Experience with continuous integration and delivery.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Experience with microservices, Kafka and NoSQL databases would be nice to have.Must Have Skills :- 3+ years of proficiency with MS-SQL and Postgres-SQL.- 1+ years of experience working with PowerShell.- Solid understanding of database best practices.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills :- Exposure to data security and governance best practices.- Experience with distributed data processing systems.- Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques for data queries.- Exposure to NoSQL and Azure is a plus.Professional Skills :- Solid written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.- Strong team and individual player.- Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature.- High standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality results.- Self-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention.- Demonstrate flexibility and openness to bring creative solutions to address issues.
