The Business Head – Direct Vertical Sales is a strategic leadership role that combines expertise in direct sales with proficiency in leveraging digital marketing tools and platforms. This role is crucial for driving customer acquisition, enhancing digital engagement, and optimizing sales through data-driven strategies. It emphasizes the seamless integration of direct sales operations with digital marketing efforts to create a cohesive and impactful customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership and Direct Vertical Strategy
• Sales Ownership: Develop and implement a direct vertical sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets for assigned customer segments.
• Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales funnel, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring high conversion rates.
• Customer Segmentation: Focus on specific verticals such as HNIs, NRIs, and digital-first customers seeking premium land investment opportunities.
• Target Achievement: Drive consistent growth by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
2. Digital Marketing Strategy Integration
• Digital Campaign Management: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to design and execute targeted campaigns that align with sales objectives.
• Lead Generation: Use digital platforms (Google Ads, social media, SEO) to generate high-quality leads for the direct sales team.
• Performance Tracking: Analyze campaign performance to optimize spend, improve ROI, and drive qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
• Content Collaboration: Ensure digital marketing content resonates with the target audience and supports direct sales efforts.
3. Customer Experience and Engagement
• High-Touch Engagement: Provide personalized services to customers through direct interactions and digital touchpoints.
• Feedback Loops: Gather and act on customer insights to improve offerings and engagement strategies.
• Retention Programs: Develop strategies to enhance customer retention and encourage repeat investments.
4. Team Leadership and Development
• Sales Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing direct sales team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Training and Development: Train the team on digital tools, customer handling, and data-driven sales techniques.
• Performance Monitoring: Set clear KPIs for the team and regularly review progress to ensure targets are met.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Marketing Synergy: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment of campaigns, messaging, and customer targeting.
• Product Development: Provide customer insights to product teams to influence offerings tailored to market needs.
• Finance and Compliance: Ensure smooth payment processes, compliance, and financial management for transactions.

Experience and Qualifications
• Experience:
o 12+ years of experience in sales and digital marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
o Proven track record in integrating digital marketing strategies with direct sales operations.
o Experience in FMCG, luxury goods, fintech, or digital-first companies is preferred.
• Education:
o MBA or equivalent degree in marketing, sales, or business management. from tier 1 colleges only
