Job Description: Senior Python Developer – Telecom Domain


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team in a strictly work-from-office role based in Chennai or Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of expertise in core and advanced Python programming, along with a strong background in the telecom domain, specifically in network management or the SON (Self-Organizing Networks) domain. This role involves working on advanced telecom applications and technologies, including NetAct and SON, and requires proficiency in radio technologies across 2G/3G/4G/5G and Nokia SRAN.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications to support telecom operations and SON functionalities.
  2. Utilize extensive telecom knowledge to work on NetAct and SON Telecom applications.
  3. Apply advanced architectural and design methodologies (e.g., component-based, SOA, scalable ASYNC frameworks) to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
  4. Implement and optimize Microservices and Kubernetes-based architectures.
  5. Develop and maintain data integration and exchange formats using XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST protocols.
  6. Work with RDBMS (MySQL) and No-SQL databases to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in telecom application development.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in core and advanced Python programming.
  • Telecom Domain Expertise: 2-3 years of experience in telecom, network management, or SON domain, with strong knowledge of radio technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G & Nokia SRAN).
  • Applications Knowledge: Experience in NetAct and SON telecom applications.
  • Architectural Expertise: Strong understanding of architectural and design methodologies (e.g., SOA, component-based design, scalable ASYNC frameworks).
  • Microservices and Kubernetes: Experience in designing and implementing solutions using Kubernetes and Microservices (preferred).
  • Data Exchange & Integration: Proficiency in XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST protocols.
  • Database Management: Expertise in database technologies, including RDBMS (MySQL) and No-SQL systems.


Work Environment:

  • Location: Chennai or Bangalore.
  • Type: Strictly work-from-office position. Remote work is not an option for this role.
