We are seeking a seasoned Python Developer with over 5 years of experience in software development and a strong background in banking or financial services projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, testing, and deploying Python-based applications and will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions tailored to the banking industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code, specifically for banking and financial services projects.
  • Design and implement robust applications and services, ensuring their performance, scalability, and compliance with banking regulations.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability, with a focus on security and regulatory compliance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems and applications, particularly those in the financial sector.
  • Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Python development, with an emphasis on banking technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects.
  • Hands-on experience in banking or financial services projects is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and integrating with RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling, with a focus on banking data.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Familiarity with machine learning, data science, or big data technologies, particularly in the banking industry.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
