Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Specialist located in Mumbai. The Purchase Specialist will be responsible for executing and managing purchasing processes, preparing and verifying purchase orders, and maintaining supplier relationships. The role also involves ensuring compliance with procurement policies, analyzing purchasing data, and optimizing procurement strategies to meet the organization's operational needs. Qualifications Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and PurchasingExperience in creating, reviewing, and managing Purchase OrdersStrong Analytical Skills for evaluating procurement strategies and optimizing operationsExcellent organizational and time management skillsKnowledge of the shipping industry or maritime procurement is an advantageBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
