The Role
The Operation Manager is overall responsible for the business Operational activities to ensure customers receive conforming contracted products and services consistently on time. This is a key role required to deliver operational excellence, process improvement and developing high performing teams.
Main Responsibilities:-
Responsible for Operations Management including all aspects of Production, Purchasing,
Manufacturing Engineering, Planning and inventory Management.
Ensure a highly responsive delivery process for product to customer.
To establish an environment of continuous improvement, resulting ever increasing targets,
through the development of Lean manufacturing and operations functional excellence across the
Plant
To meet and exceed the manufacturing target within the On Time Delivery, Cost budgets, and
Quality standards.
Attracts, develops, and utilizes people of all levels in the plant in an effort to retain outstanding people, values, recognizes and encourages human diversity
Qualification:-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Technical qualification in manufacturing,
manufacturing engineering, and or operations management.
Operations management experience (no less than 10 years) in Automotive Industry is highly preferred
Experience in developing manufacturing plans and strategy to meet changing needs.
Communicates regularly with the team to inspire motivation. Lead by example and demonstrate the principal of leadership to reports / team leaders
