DESIGNATION: Operations Manager (Waterpark)

REPORTING TO: General Manager

DEPARTMENT: Park Operations


POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Manager oversees waterpark operations to achieve company goals and ensure guest satisfaction while meeting financial objectives. Responsibilities include managing Aquatics, First Aid, Security, and Park Services, along with assisting in daily operations.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead all waterpark operations according to procedures.

- Oversee managerial staff for productivity and performance.

- Analyze operational data and guide Park Managers.

- Manage teams in Ticketing, Retail, F&B, Guest Services, Aquatics, Maintenance, Security, and Emergency Management.

- Handle administrative tasks: scheduling, reporting, cash handling.

- Ensure staff training and policy enforcement.

- Monitor pool operations for health and safety compliance.

- Assist in annual budget coordination and facility maintenance.

- Maintain professionalism and work extended hours as needed.

- Attend staff meetings and stay current with certifications.


REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in Aquatics Management, Park/Recreation Administration, Business, or Marketing.

- Preferred experience in Aquatics or Waterparks.

- 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in Theme Parks or Hospitality.

- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and facility software.
