Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer II Location: Bengaluru (Work From Office) – Hybrid Experience: 3–6 yearsJob SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer II (QAE II) to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of our SaaS products. The ideal candidate has strong experience in manual, automation, and API testing, along with a solid grasp of CI/CD workflows and modern testing frameworks. You will collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to drive end-to-end quality ownership across releases.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute test cases and automation scripts for web and API applications.Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for product releases.Implement test automation frameworks (preferably Playwright or Selenium).Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.Validate data integrity and perform SQL/database testing.Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD pipeline integration of automated tests.Participate in bug triage, root cause analysis, and release readiness reviews.Work on test data management, environment readiness, and release validation.Contribute to performance and load testing initiatives.Adopt modern tools (AI-assisted testing, code-based testing approaches) for test optimization and faster delivery.Technical SkillsAutomation Frameworks: Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, or similarAPI Testing Tools: Postman, RestAssured, SwaggerProgramming/Scripting: Java, JavaScript, or Python (hands-on required)Database: SQL fundamentals, query writing, and data validationCI/CD: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalentDefect Tracking & Collaboration: JIRA, ConfluencePerformance/Load Testing: JMeter, k6 (good to have)AI Tools: Familiarity with tools like Cursor, Windsurf (optional but desirable)Soft SkillsStrong analytical and debugging skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesOwnership-driven, proactive, and detail-focusedAbility to adapt quickly in a dynamic product environmentPreferred (Good to Have)Experience in SaaS or product-based environmentsExposure to Azure-based infrastructure or test environmentsFamiliarity with AI-assisted test automationKnowledge of performance or security testing concepts
