Magazine’s List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies for three years in a row.Powering millions of jobs every day, Joveo’s data-driven recruitment marketing platform uses advanced data science and machine learning to dynamically manage and optimize talent sourcing and applications across all online channels while providing real-time insights at every step of the job seeker journey, from click to hire.For more information about Joveo’s award-winning platform, visit www.joveo.com.Responsibilities:You will be part of a small team, with a large amount of ownership and responsibility for managing things directly.Ownership of product/feature end-to-end for all phases from the development to the production.Ensuring the developed features are scalable and highly available with no quality concernsYou will deliver high-quality solutions with a sense of urgency and speed.You will work closely with product managers, other teams, and both internal and external stakeholders, owning a large part of the process from problem understanding to shipping the solution.You will have the freedom to suggest and drive organisation-wide initiatives.Requirements:3+ years of experience as a Development Engineer with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.Experience with at least one the following languages: Java, and/or any functional language.Experience with software engineering best practices (e. g. unit testing, code reviews design documentation).A blend of product, system, and people knowledge that lets you jump into fast-paced environment and contribute from day one.An ability to balance a sense of urgency with shipping high quality and pragmatic solutions.Extensive experience working with a large code base and cross-functional team.Self-motivation and enjoyment for a startup environment.
