Position : Network AdministratorQualification : BE / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related fieldExperience : Minimum 5 years (preferably with OEM exposure)Location : ThrivendramEmployment Type : Full-timeKey Responsibilities :- Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VPN, Load Balancers).- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.- Perform installation, upgrades, and patching of network devices in line with OEM best practices.- Work closely with OEM vendors for escalations, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and support.- Implement and enforce network security policies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access control.- Manage IP addressing, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and network segmentation (VLANs, MPLS).- Conduct periodic network audits, capacity planning, and performance optimization.- Provide L2/L3 support for incidents and service requests.- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.- Support disaster recovery planning and implementation of high-availability solutions.Required Skills & Expertise :- Strong knowledge of Cisco / Juniper / Aruba / Palo Alto / Fortinet or other OEM networking technologies.- Hands-on experience with Routing & Switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).- Experience with firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, Load balancers, Wireless Controllers.- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.).- Understanding of cloud networking (AWS / Azure) and hybrid environments.- Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.OEM certifications (preferred) :- Cisco (CCNP/CCIE)- Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE- Fortinet NSE4+- Palo Alto PCNSE (ref:hirist.tech)
