The Junior Web Developer will be responsible for coding, designing, and developing websites to ensure functionality and user-friendliness. Daily tasks include collaborating with teams to troubleshoot and fix bugs, optimizing website performance, and staying updated on the latest web technologies. The role will also involve working on both front-end and back-end development efforts to deliver robust and responsive digital solutions. We are looking for someone proactive who enjoys problem-solving, experimenting, and building functional, scalable websites. You’ll primarily manage & maintain client’s WordPress & Webflow sites, support our internal Webflow projects, and work closely with the creative, product, and marketing teams. A strong appetite for learning new tools—especially AI-assisted coding platforms—is key. This is currently a remote role, but the candidate who is hired should be willing to relocate and/or work from our office in Bangalore.Key Responsibilities- Maintain, update, and improve client websites built on WordPress or WebFlow - Support updates, builds & maintenance for Semporro’s Webflow website - Build and customize pages, components, animations, and interactions using Webflow / WordPress / Framer - Troubleshoot website issues and deliver quick, effective solutions - Work with APIs, plugins and backend support for integrations - Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, SEO, and performance - Collaborate with design & marketing teams to implement UI/UX requirements - Implement creative technical solutions for growth, automation, and scalability - Experiment with new-age AI coding tools (Lovable, Emergent, Cursor, etc.) and integrate into workflows - Maintain documentation + communicate progress clearlyRequired Skills- 1–3 years of experience building and maintaining websites - Strong knowledge of: - WordPress (themes, plugins, builders, custom integrations) - Webflow (CMS, interactions, components) - HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Basic backend technologies (PHP or Node preferred) - Experience with Shopify / e-commerce platforms - Working understanding of APIs & integrations - Strong debugging + problem-solving mindset - Ability to work fast, experiment, learn new technologiesNice to have:- Familiarity with React / Next.js - Experience with Framer - Basic SEO implementation knowledge - Basic DevOps / hosting experience - Exposure to AI tooling (Cursor, Lovable, Emergent, V0, etc.)Personality Traits:- Curious & self-learning mindset - Ownership & accountability - Resourceful problem-solver - Can collaborate cross-functionally - Loves experimenting with new tech - Delivers on timeWhy Join us:- Work with global clients + internal products - Learn cutting-edge AI-first web development workflows - Flexible: remote-first setup initially; must be open to relocating to Bengaluru office in the future - Opportunity to grow into full-stack / product engineering - Small team → Large opportunities to contribute + buildSend your CV + portfolio + GitHub/Behance/Webflow links to hello@semporro.com
