Responsibilities :

Automation & Infrastructure Management :

- Use Python to automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and monitoring tasks.

- Continuously improve DevOps workflows through automation.

CI/CD Pipeline Development :

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Python-driven automation.

- Ensure rapid and reliable software delivery and integration.

Cloud Infrastructure :

- Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Use Python for automation, scaling, and cost-efficient, secure infrastructure management.

Containerization & Orchestration :

- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for building, deploying, and managing containerized applications.

- Automate Kubernetes cluster deployment processes with Python.

Scripting & Tool Development :

- Develop Python scripts for infrastructure management, monitoring, data collection, and log aggregation.

- Build custom tools and automation scripts for development and operations teams.

Monitoring & Logging :


- Implement systems for monitoring health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and other tools.

- Leverage Python to create customized alerts and notifications.

Security Best Practices :

- Automate vulnerability scans, access control, and compliance checks using Python.

- Apply DevSecOps principles to improve security in workflows.

Collaboration & Troubleshooting :

- Partner with development teams to debug production issues.

- Provide expertise in automation, scalability, and identifying system bottlenecks.

Documentation :

- Maintain clear documentation for all Python scripts, deployment pipelines, automation processes, and system changes.

Performance Optimization :

- Enhance system reliability, optimize resource usage, and improve infrastructure performance through Python-driven analysis.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3 to 6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (or similar role), with strong emphasis on Python scripting and automation.

- Proficiency in Python programming for scalable and efficient automation of DevOps processes.

- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and services like EC2, S3, Lambda, Kubernetes.

- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Travis CI, etc.), integrated with Python for automation.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Skilled in Docker and Kubernetes for containerized and cloud-native applications.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) and Python-based monitoring solutions.

- Experience with Git/version control and branching strategies.

- Knowledge of networking concepts (load balancing, DNS, firewalls) in cloud environments.

- Strong understanding of security best practices in DevOps (RBAC, IAM, encryption).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Relevant DevOps certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer, etc.) or Python certifications.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-native design principles.

- Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).

- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).

- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), including performance optimization in cloud environments.

- Knowledge of GitOps, Helm charts, and Python-based configuration management for applications in Git.
