Job Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Assistant Associate in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join our esteemed department at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre. This position is based in our Mumbai location and involves collaborative patient care alongside skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in clinical procedures relevant to obstetrics and gynecology.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in patient care, particularly in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, ensuring a compassionate and skilled approach to all patient interactions.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology specific to obstetrics and gynecology, facilitating clear and accurate communication with the healthcare team.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical procedures related to obstetrics, such as pre-natal and post-natal care, and supporting gynecological surgeries.
  • Experience with EMR systems, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation of patient records and sharing of crucial medical information.
  • Skill in labor and delivery processes, including preparation, assistance, and recovery support for childbirth.
  • Competence in fetal monitoring, possessing the ability to track fetal development and health effectively throughout pregnancy.
  • Expertise in postpartum care, delivering comprehensive health assessments and emotional support to new mothers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment, contributing to a team-oriented approach in patient management and care delivery.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care procedures, working closely with attending physicians and specialists.
  • Facilitate patient education regarding pre-natal and post-natal care, fostering an environment of communication and trust.
  • Monitor patients in labor, providing support and intervention as needed to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and management of patient records using EMR systems, maintaining confidentiality and security.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and protocols aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control in compliance with hospital policies during all clinical procedures.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities to remain updated on medical advancements.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families, helping them navigate the challenges of obstetric care.
