Lead Data Analyst

Job Description :Key Responsibilities :- Lead data-driven initiatives and mentor junior analysts within the analytics team.- Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and business units to deliver actionable insights.- Deploy analytics algorithms and tools on modern tech stacks for efficient data processing.- Develop data models, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.- Manage and transform large datasets using Spark, SQL, Python, or PySpark.- Utilize Databricks and Azure for data engineering and analytics tasks.- Apply statistical modeling and advanced analytical techniques using Python, PySpark, or R.- Build and maintain BI reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx.- Collaborate with global data teams to standardize analytics processes and ensure consistent reporting.- Identify areas of risk and opportunity through data exploration and predictive analytics.Required Skills & Experience :- 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a quantitative analytics role.- Proven experience in retail, supply chain, e-commerce, or marketing analytics domains.- Strong programming and data handling skills with Spark, SQL, Python, or PySpark.- Proficiency in Databricks and Azure data environments.- Understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning concepts.- Experience using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) for visualization and reporting.- Prior experience leading or mentoring analysts in a professional setting.- Exposure to cloud computing services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for analytics workflows.- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.Must-Have Requirement :Must be comfortable working onsite 5 days a week at the Gurugram office (ref:hirist.tech)
