Role Summary :This leadership role is responsible for ensuring robust financial control, accurate accounting, and strategic FP&A support in a consumer goods environment. The incumbent will play a key role in maintaining accounting hygiene, driving financial planning, and supporting leadership through data driven decision making and providing insights.Key Responsibilities :Financial Control & Accounting Hygiene (Listed Company Focus): Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance withInd AS ,SEBI LODR , and other statutory requirements. Leadmonthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures , ensuring completeness, accuracy, and audit-readiness. Maintain strongaccounting hygiene , including reconciliations, provisions, and documentation standards. Drive implementation and monitoring ofinternal controls , accounting policies, and process improvements. Coordinate withexternal auditorsand internal teams to ensure smooth audit execution and resolution of audit points. Coordination with other functions forBoard /investor presentationsand earnings calls. FP&A and Strategic Business Support (Consumer Goods Focus): Leadannual budgeting ,rolling forecasts , andlong-range planningacross product categories and geographies. Analyzesales trends ,trade spends ,promotional effectiveness , andSKU profitability . Partner withsales, marketing, and supply chainteams to align financial plans with business strategies. Develop and maintainfinancial modelsfor pricing, new product launches, and market expansion. Monitorchannel performance(modern trade, general trade, e-commerce) and provide actionable insights. Supportcapex planning , ROI analysis, and scenario modeling for strategic initiatives. Ability to drivecost optimization ,margin improvement , anddigital finance transformation .Qualifications : Chartered Accountant (CA)with 8–12 years of experience in finance roles, preferably in alisted consumer goods company . Strong understanding ofInd AS ,SEBI regulations , andcorporate governance . Proven experience inFP&A ,business partnering , andfinancial modeling . Familiarity withSAP systems .
