Location : Bengaluru (Fully Remote)

Experience : 13 years

Notice Period : Immediate

Employment Type : 6-month Contract (extendable based on performance & project requirements)

Compensation : 6 -10 LPA

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with hands-on experience in both frontend and backend automation testing. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our web applications and APIs. This role requires strong technical skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement automated test scripts for UI and API testing.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to define test strategies and requirements.

- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.

- Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple environments.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide clear, actionable feedback.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for frontend (UI) and backend (API, database).

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to overall QA best practices.

Must-Have Skills

- Programming : Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.

- Automation Tools : Hands-on experience with Selenium and Cypress.

- API Testing : Skilled in Postman, REST Assured, Karate.

- Performance Testing : Experience with JMeter (Gatling is a plus).

- CI/CD & Version Control : Strong knowledge of Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.

- Databases : SQL for database testing and validation.

- Agile & DevOps : Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, and DevOps practices.

- Cloud Exposure : Basic knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms (preferred).

- Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Payroll : Contractual role (6 months, extendable).
