Pega Developer Location - Hyderabad/Chennai Hybrid Model Experience - 6+ YearsKey Responsibilities Pega Application Development Design and develop Pega applications for claims processing aligned with business needs. Configure and customize Pega BPM and case management features under senior architect guidance. Smart Claims Engine (SCE) Integration Support integration of Pega apps with SCE and other third-party healthcare systems. Design and implement workflows and decision rules for claims lifecycle management. Technical Problem Solving Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Pega applications and SCE integrations. Identify root causes and propose effective solutions for defects in claims workflows. Team Collaboration Work with business analysts, developers, and testers to deliver SCE-related features. Partner with senior architects to ensure scalable and reliable technical solutions. Code Quality & Best Practices Follow coding standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to reusable components and frameworks. Agile Development Engage in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives. Ensure timely delivery of product features. Documentation Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation: design specs, user stories, test cases. Document system changes and configurations for transparency and knowledge sharing. Qualifications Experience 6+ years in Pega development, focusing on case management and BPM. Experience with Smart Claims Engine (SCE) or similar healthcare claims systems is highly preferred. Technical Skills Proficient in Pega 8.x or later. Experience integrating Pega with third-party systems using HL7, FHIR, etc. Strong in decision rules, UI design, and business logic. Skilled in debugging and problem-solving within Pega. Soft Skills Strong collaboration and communication skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Adaptable and eager to learn within the Pega and healthcare domains. Healthcare Knowledge Familiarity with healthcare claims, payer systems, and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus. Certifications Pega Certified Senior System Architect (SSA) or equivalent is a plus. Preferred Skills Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Familiarity with Pega integration tools (REST API, SOAP). Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL).
