Key Responsibilities :

1. Requirements Gathering :

1. Work closely with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for the application or report development.

2. Understand the business needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions.

2. Design and Development :

1. Lead the design and development of complex BIP (BI Publisher) reports, especially in the financial domain.

2. Ensure reports are structured, accurate, and adhere to the desired specifications.

3. Triage and Issue Resolution :

1. Troubleshoot and address any issues with reports, collaborating with other teams when necessary to resolve them promptly.

2. Ensure that reports are optimized and functioning as expected.

4. Team Management :

1. Manage and guide the team to ensure high performance and successful project delivery.

2. Make key decisions related to design, development, and deployment, keeping the team aligned with project goals.

3. Provide mentorship and solutions to problems faced by your team and other teams you interact with.

5. Collaboration with Multiple Teams :

1. Act as the primary point of contact for project-related activities.

2. Engage with multiple teams, both within and outside your immediate team, to make key decisions that impact the overall project.

3. Facilitate coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of solutions.

6. Application Configuration and Implementation :

1. Oversee the design, build, and configuration of applications that align with business requirements.

2. Ensure that the application is scalable, efficient, and integrates seamlessly with other systems.

7. Leadership :

1. Take ownership of the project, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational objectives.

2. Drive the team towards successful delivery, maintaining a focus on both quality and deadlines.

Professional & Technical Skills :

Must-Have Skills :

1. Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) : Extensive experience with Oracle BI Publisher to design and develop complex reports, particularly in financial reporting.

2.Oracle Fusion Financial Data Model : Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion's data model, specifically within the financial domain. You should be comfortable working with data from Oracle Fusion to generate reports and insights.

Good-to-Have Skills :

1. Data Visualization Tools : Experience with tools such as Tableau or Power BI to help present and visualize data effectively.

2. Statistical Analysis & Machine Learning : Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms (e.g., linear regression, decision trees, etc.) to improve data-driven decision-making and reporting.

3. Data Munging : Expertise in data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure high-quality data and integrity in reports.

Soft Skills :

- Interpersonal Skills : Ability to collaborate with various teams and manage relationships effectively.

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, capable of solving both technical and team-related challenges.
